Lead Poisoning Prevention–For Landlords

Lead can create dangerous environments in housing that is otherwise completely safe.  That is why it is important for landlords to understand the rules and regulations set out by the EPA concerning lead in rented homes, which can be found here.

The cities of Lewiston and Auburn have teamed up with Healthy Androscoggin to offer the Landlord Lead Assistance Program, which provides landlords with on-site lead dust testing and many educational options concerning lead hazard management.
